Barbara Brewster now divides her time between Buderim in Queensland, Australia and Bali. She is a supporter of the new Campuhan College in Bali's creative centre of Ubud where she is is excited about learning how to ride a motorbike and enjoys learning how to speak Indonesian.

CALIFORNIA-BORN AUTHOR AND PRESENTER BARBARA BREWSTER, embodies a wealth of experience with challenge and change. As a young woman she studied gymnastics in Denmark, majored in Russian, hostessed a restaurant in Afghanistan, hitchhiked across continents, and immigrated to Australia. She shares her long-time love affair with Australia in the acclaimed Down Under All Over

Her most challenging adventure, however, began in 1984 when she was stricken with symptoms of multiple sclerosis. Barbara's courage and commitment to explore and risk personal change is chronicled in her deeply honest Journey to Wholeness, which has been acclaimed by Deepak Chopra, Jerry Jampolksy and other leaders of the wholistic health movement. Her recovery and her conviction that we have choice, regardless of the issue, has inspired many.

In her latest book, LOVE OR GROWTH; WHY NOT BOTH - A Woman's Dilemma, she tells her own story of a woman striving to live her burgeoning spiritual and personal truth while in the context of an established relationship. It is hailed as an inspiring blend of the personal and universal - "a powerful motivator and an inspirational tool for women who stand on the edge of major change." (more comments >>)

As a post 50's elder, Barbara is an actor and singer, a counselor, ESL teacher and a spontaneity addict. As part of her program to lighten up, she became a clown and toured Russian hospitals and orphanages with clown/MD Patch Adams. The principles of spontaneity and of living wholely are the same, says Barbara, who presents "Power of Play" (POP!) and "Rambunctious Writing" and "Clowning for Cowards" workshops to adults interested in expanding their sparkle and choices, peace of mind, health and creativity.
