Barbara’s impact on us was such that of all the excellent speakers at the Gawler Foundation’s Spirit of Survival Conference, (including Weary Dunlop, Tim McCArtney-Snape, Burnum Burnum and Ian Gawler) she was the only one we approached to participate in our “Cancer Support and Wellness” program. One of our members attending the Conference commented: “Although all the speakers were good, it was worth coming if only to hear Barbara Brewster alone!”
